Bunbury Bus Service is a locally owned and operated family Company that is based in Bunbury and has been operating in the Southwest for over 20 years and with over 35 years of Passenger Transport experience.
We specialise in Industrial staff transport solutions, and we are authorised vendors for UGL, SCEE, Talison, Albemarle, Hatch & Monadelphous as well as many other Tier 1 Industrial contractors.
We are compliance focussed & strive to operate above industry standard in all facets of our business.

Our Experience

We have extensive experience on industrial sites having completed the Greenbushes, Talison CGP-2 upgrade in 2019 along with the Greenbushes Tailings Project working with Mondium and WAY Electrical.
More recently we have been working with Talison, providing staff transport for the MSA project, McNally’s, ESI Alpha Tech and Melchor constructing the new workers camp at Greenbushes, as well as contractor transport for the Talison CGP-3 upgrade where we have vehicles & drivers site certified.
We completed construction at the Kemerton Lithium Project (Train 1 & 2), working for Oil & Gas Solutions (OGS), SCEE and Monadelphous where we have provided over 30 000 trips in 3 years at the KEP and recorded a virtual zero in lost production time due to equipment failure or staffing issues.
We also provided staff transport for Albemarle, Hatch, Monadelphous & UGL at the Kemerton Expansion Project (Trains 3 & 4) and additionally, Synergy, SCEE & UGL at the Collie Battery Projects 1 & 2.
We also supply staff transport solutions for the Collie Mining and Power Industry, Boddington Gold Mine and South 32 Worsley Refinery, not to mention the self-drive and charter services we provide to Government Agencies, Corporate Clients, Schools, Sporting Bodies and Local Business all around the Southwest.

Our Fleet Capability

We operate a fleet of 35 modern, well-equipped vehicles ranging from 11 to 57 seats most of which are compliant to Mine Specification. We utilise GPS tracking, incorporating an AI driven, ‘In Vehicle Fatigue Management System’, including seatbelt monitoring technology, as well as industry leading, pre shift, alcohol testing equipment with facial recognition and temperature testing capabilities.
We utilise purpose-built vehicles with extra leg room to accommodate even the most fastidious passengers.
We are large enough to provide excellent coverage and backup, whilst small enough to be flexible & agile.

Our Qualifications

We are Licenced Charter operators with the West Australian Department of Transport and hold an Authorised ‘On Demand Booking Service’ Licence.
We have a comprehensive safety management plan including vehicle risk management and employee fatigue management schedules. We have also adopted pre-shift breathalyser testing as well as regular, random drug & alcohol testing of our personnel. In particular, we pride ourselves on our ‘perfect’ safety record to date.
